MOOR MUR

Moormur is a London based producer, beatmaker and self-taught drummer. Exploring rhythms and sounds from all over the world., his music is a collage of samples, field recordings and synths glued together with a naive attitude. Moormur takes inspiration from spiritual music, instrumental hip hop, African rumba, IDM, contemporary jazz and ambient music.

Playing live he uses percussion and electronic pads to create performances infused with dynamics and grooves.

ALEX MIKE THE MIC

Nottingham born MC Alex Mike The Mic is running riotous through London’s hip-hop scene by combining a unique poetic sound punctuated with a raw Midlands accent and a natural flair for the dramatic. His music ranges from the purity of boom bap to breakbeat and drum & bass infused hip-hop. The thread that runs through his music is the power of his imagination and an electric flow that warps with the rhythm.

After the release of his ‘Futuristic Love Story’ EP, Alex Mike The Mic has collaborated with the Nouteka Collective and Ohno da French, releasing the pure distilled conscious modern hip hop of ‘Closer To Heaven’. He has also made the summer smooth breakbeat fusion ‘Bouncy’ with Kweolkidz, a song guaranteed to get any dancefloor bouncing.

Future projects include major releases with rhyme and production extraordinaire Christian Foley and a new upcoming track produced by the wizard Moormur called ‘High Energy’.
